49ers of San Francisco at Los Angeles Rats, professional predictions, and how to watch: Without victory LA is the clear underdog.

Heading into Week 3, the Los Angeles Rams may be in the most precarious situation of all the NFL teams with a 0-2 record. They had to play the San Francisco 49ers, one of the top teams in the league and a division opponent, in addition to coming off a 31-point loss to Arizona. Due to injuries, they are without their two best wide receivers, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. That being said, it should come as no surprise that they are a massive touchdown underdog at home.

With Kupp and Nacua sidelined, coach Sean McVay and the Rams will have their hands full against the 49ers.

Injuries are a concern for the 49ers as well; they lack Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle. However, they still have Jordan Mason, a rising talent at running back, and Brandon Aiyuk to tote the ball. As a stand-in for McCaffrey, Mason has been one of the biggest surprise players of the year, gaining 247 yards on the ground and surpassing the 100-yard mark in each of his first two starts.

With so many new players joining the team this season and future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald’s retirement, the Rams defense is still becoming established.

With the personnel in the lineup, the 49ers ought to be able to score some points. With Tyler Johnson and Demarcus Robinson as his top two wide receivers, the question will be whether or not Matthew Stafford can keep up with them.
