OXNARD, California — For the second time in as many weeks, the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys collaborated on practice on Wednesday. They also played their first preseason game on Sunday. During line drills, there was a fight between the two teams.
After overcoming Rams offensive lineman Grant Miller, Cowboys defensive tackle Albert Huggins grabbed a Rams equipment intern with both hands and pushed him to the ground.
Osa Odighizuwa, a defensive lineman for the Cowboys, was involved in a shoving match with both sides on the previous play.

Rams coach Sean McVay intervened after the Huggins play, stopping drills to speak with players and inquire about the intern. The intern took turns being the fake quarterback in the pocket, while McVay watched the rest of the drill.
Huggins stayed on the Dallas sideline and refrained from taking part in the team drills that followed the practice. After playing 13 games with the Atlanta Falcons the previous season, he signed with the Cowboys earlier this month.

The Rams defeated the Cowboys on Sunday 13-12 when Stetson Bennett connected with Miller Forristall for a 6-yard touchdown pass with four seconds left in the preseason game. The Rams play Saturday against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cowboys travel to Las Vegas to play the Raiders on Saturday.
