As the Dallas Cowboys Head into their Preseason Finale Against the…

OXNARD, California — The Dallas Cowboys’ training camp in California is concluded. The team’s last preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers is scheduled to take place at AT&T Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The team will return to Dallas on Thursday.

Following two preseason games and five weeks of practice, these are the ten guys we can not wait to see on Saturday.

Despite stating that he needs to see more from Lance, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated this week that the 24-year-old quarterback will be included in Dallas’ 53-man roster. Anticipate Lance to play most of the game, if not the entire one, against the Chargers. Against the Los Angeles Rams in the Cowboys’ opening preseason game, he did not seem terrific, but against the Las Vegas Raiders the previous weekend, he was more reliable and at ease. Although those positions are still up for grabs, it would take a lot for Lance to beat Cooper Rush for the backup position.

“I think, just like anything, you play this all the way out,” Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said. “You can never have enough good quarterbacks, and we got three good ones. We’re fortunate.”

After drinking some milk and developing an allergic response, Smith decided not to go to Las Vegas. Smith remarked, “I am a large guy; I eat a lot of stuff.” “I am familiar with what to do in the event of an allergic reaction. You must not become anxious. Smith is anticipated to play on Saturday after returning to practice this week. In Year 2, the Cowboys need the first-round pick from the previous year to have a significantly bigger impact. Although there has been some seasoned assistance at defensive tackle recently, Smith would benefit greatly from a strong performance on Saturday going into the regular season.

Similar to the last preseason, Vaughn performed admirably against the Raiders last week. He gave a performance worthy of a player on the 53-man roster. Interesting, though, will be the running back cuts. Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott are anticipated to be in the starting lineup. Hunter Luepke, a fullback, also looks like a solid choice. The Cowboys are unlikely to go with more than four players in this game, thus Vaughn and seasoned player Royce Freeman may battle for the last slot.

The defensive end’s training camp has gone well for the rookie. Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence stated, “He got trained really well going up in college and high school.” “Happy we had him.” For us, he is a tremendous draft choice. He seems like he will be a big assistance to us this year. Kneeland is anticipated to see a lot of playing time right away because Dorance Armstrong, Dante Fowler Jr., and Sam Williams are no longer on the team due to knee injuries. He made a few standout plays in the game against the Raiders. Seeing if he can add a few more against the Chargers will be fun to watch.

He will play on Saturday since he is the only kicker on the roster. And given the outcome of the game last weekend, do not be shocked if he is asked to attempt a field goal of more than fifty yards. Dallas’ opening preseason game included a 65-yard field goal try by the 2023 first-team All-Pro. The next week, he scored against the Raiders from 66 yards out. In the team’s lone home preseason game, McCarthy should definitely give him some opportunities.

With each preseason session and game, Liufau appears to stand out more. The rookie linebacker has a keen sense of ball placement. Liufau has also been playing a lot of defense with the starting squad while DeMarvion Overshown and Damone Clark recover from their injuries. It is easy to understand why Dallas selected him in the third round in April.

Due to knee pain, he had to leave practice early on Wednesday and might not play against the Chargers. In Week 1, it is anticipated that Dallas would start the first-round selection at left tackle. Look for Asim Richards to start if he is unable to participate. Jones listed the whole offensive line as the players who have excited him throughout training camp in response to a question this week. He declared, “I am enthused about the individual players.” “I am thrilled with the depth. The young people there thrill me. All of that begins with Guyton, who has indicated during the previous month that the Cowboys will probably select an offensive lineman in the first round again.

Beebe was the No. 3 center going into training camp. He has a strong chance of making his debut in Week 1 once he leaves camp. After the opening preseason game, everything was different. After that performance, he was given the chance to work with the starting lineup. Since then, he has been working with the group more and more. For a time, the former Kansas State outstanding guard will probably start at center for the Cowboys as long as he can snap passes with consistency.

He has gotten better every day of camp. He had a poor start due to a knee ailment, but it appears he has been improving with each passing practice. In the Cowboys’ second preseason game, he played well. He got along well with Lance. Against the Chargers, those two might be a popular combo once more. CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Brooks, KaVontae Turpin, and Flournoy would probably be the wide receivers on the Cowboys’ roster if they had to make roster cuts today.

10. Brevyn Spann-Ford

Spann-Ford had a good chance of making the 53-man roster going into training. The Cowboys’ largest undrafted free agency investment was in him. However, he likely needs to perform well going into the last preseason game in order to make the roster. There is good depth at the tight end position. But beyond Luke Schoonmaker and Jake Ferguson, it is hard to lock anyone down. John Stephens appears to be a wise choice. Peyton Hendershot, Princeton Fant, and Spann-Ford are most likely vying for the fourth position. However, with the Cowboys holding three quarterbacks, there is no certainty they will even keep four.
