President Joe Biden will “make the case” for Vice President Kamala Harris and running partner Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at the Democratic National Convention after withdrawing from his campaign for a second term in office. On August 19, the four-day event will begin in Chicago, and it is anticipated that Harris and Walz will accept the ticket nomination of their party.
Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, Representative Veronica Escobar of Texas, former mayor of New Orleans Mitch Landrieu, and Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota Peggy Flanagan are co-chairs of this year’s convention. Hollywood celebrities including Mindy Kaling and Kerry Washington have been selected to host the 2024 Democratic National conference (DNC). On the third day of the conference, Julia Louis-Dreyfus will moderate a noon panel showcasing female governors in the United States.

When and Where Is the 2024 DNC Taking Place?
The United Center in Chicago will host speeches and the main events of the 2024 Democratic National Convention from Monday, August 19, to Thursday, August 22. The themes for each day will be “For the People,” “A Bold Vision for America’s Future,” “A Fight for Our Freedoms,” and “For Our Future,” according to the DNC.
