Matthijs de Ligt will join Manchester United after a deal was reached with Bayern Munich.
The center back will pay €45 million in addition to €5 million in add-ons to transfer to Old Trafford.
De Ligt will sign a five-year contract with United that includes a one-year option to extend, pending clearance from his physical.
By adding the 24-year-old Netherlands international, who was previously at Ajax and Juventus, boss Erik ten Hag has bolstered his team with a very skilled and youthful defender.
Bayern has also agreed to accept United’s offer of €15 million plus €5 million in bonuses for full-back Noussair Mazraoui. The trade is subject on the 26-year-old Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Bayern leaving the Premier League team.
While negotiations over the duration of the deal are still underway, West Ham United and Manchester United have agreed on a £15 million fee for Wan-Bissaka.
Additionally, Wan-Bissaka has to finalize his departure from Manchester United before the transfer can happen.
Sunday or Monday is set aside for a medical at the east London side.
Wan-Bissaka joined United in 2019 for an initial £45 million, and since then, he has made 190 appearances in the main squad.
