The New York Mets’ first game at Citi Field has been rescheduled for the second consecutive season.
The Mets announced that Opening Day at Citi Field would now take place in the afternoon on Friday due to the bad weather forecast for Thursday. Fans can utilize their tickets from Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers for the rescheduled game on Friday.
The gates open at 11:40 a.m. and the parking lots open at 10:40 a.m. on Friday, with the first pitch set for 1:40 p.m.
On Friday, the Mets will start Jose Quintana against Freddy Peralta. The remaining members of the Mets’ rotation are Adrian Houser, Sean Manaea, Tylor Megill, and Luis Severino.
