West Brom has arrived in the background to address “some problems.”

West Brom manager Carlos Corberan has made plans to hire Rafa Aranda as a consultant.

Rafa Aranda was brought in by Carlos Corberan to West Bromwich Albion, the club’s manager, to assist reduce the danger of injuries to his players after the club’s pursuit of the play-offs previous season was hampered by the absence of important players. Aranda, a lecturer at the University of Valencia, has joined as a consultant; Corberan was one of his former students.

Adam Reach, Daryl Dike, Grady Diangana, Matt Phillips, Kyle Bartley, Dara O’Shea, and Alex Palmer were among the numerous players Albion lost to injury last season. Kyle Bartley, Dara O’Shea, and Alex Palmer also experienced major setbacks at various stages. While many of those injuries couldn’t have been avoided because they occurred during play, Corberan has addressed the issue by bringing in Aranda to collaborate with Senior Squad Director of Medical Tony Strudwick.

He is well aware of Aranda’s advantages since he has personally experienced them. He also shared his expertise in the sports science and football fields, which Albion will now use to their advantage as they work to cut down on injuries and boost peak performance. Aranda has assimilated into the club very rapidly.

Corberan clarified, “He is a physical coach and a doctor as well. “We are collaborating with him and the institution because he was my professor at the institution of Valencia when I was pursuing a degree in sports science. He was a knowledgeable person who had an impression on me.

“Subsequently, the fact that he has always been associated with the institution prevented him from advancing to the top level of football. Long ago, he was collaborating with Valencia Football Club in the top division. Even though he has worked in China, he has maintained his connection to the university because he is one of the most significant figures in Spanish sports science and medicine.

He also studied medicine. He was a doctor, a football coach, an assistant coach, and a sports scientist. He is the finest to me. Injury avoidance is his area of expertise. We had some issues with injuries the previous year, so it was crucial to have someone from the physical or medical departments who could offer suggestions. His amount of humility strikes me as his best quality.

He is someone I can trust to be prepared to work at this club from the start. The folks in this room are of the same personality as he is. It makes integrating him really simple. He will collaborate with the medical and training personnel.

“His latest experience was with the Chinese national team and the under 21s in China. He worked with Levante, Valencia, Gimnastic, and the national team of China. He has experience, but he also knows a lot about values. He has brought tests for the players to track their weariness, assess their condition, and suggest when a player needs a day off. He is performing some assessments made possible by his understanding of sports science.
