Even though it might seem simple enough, each member of our voting panel takes their time, careful deliberation, and unique process while compiling the MLB Power Rankings each week. Additionally, even though they may feel strongly about their rankings, they are only one voice among many that decide the order of things.
We would like to extend the opportunity to an even greater number of individuals this week as we move into the second half. This means that you, the readers, will cast your votes for The Athletic’s Power Rankings edition released on July 23.
